Melissa Wilkinson 
General Manager | Sales & Property Management Specialist

Born on New Providence Island, Bahamas, and raised between New Providence and Great Exuma, Melissa has been surrounded by real estate for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a family deeply involved in the industry, she developed an early understanding of property markets and client service.

After attending the College of The Bahamas—first majoring in accounting before switching to Computer Data Processing—she decided to set aside her studies to pursue real estate full-time. She became a licensed member of the Bahamas Real Estate Association in 1997, working in sales, rentals, and property management, and gaining valuable experience assisting with appraisal work on properties throughout The Bahamas.

Melissa later moved to Harbour Island, where she co-founded a boutique property management firm overseeing a portfolio of about 15 homes. Several years later, she returned to New Providence to best support her children’s schooling and extracurricular activities, and joined Disston Realty’s property management department, where she has been an active part of the team ever since.

Now General Manager of Disston Realty, Melissa is happy to be working alongside the Disston team and active in sales and rentals, bringing her extensive experience, local knowledge, and client-first approach to every transaction. She treasures time with her family and enjoys beaching, shopping, homemaking, and gardening.
